Where Prototypes of Better Futures Take Shape.

A space for exploring, prototyping, and giving form to the future of human systems.

THE EXPERIMENTAL HEART OF WIZE STUDIO

The Studio Lab is where complexity becomes visible, dialogue becomes design, and new possibilities become tangible.

It is our workshop for systemic experimentation — a place where research meets imagination, futures thinking meets prototyping, and diverse minds converge to shape living systems that can learn, adapt, and evolve.

While our Projects engage real-world systems with partners, and our Academy cultivates systemic literacy in learners, the Studio Lab is where we generate, test, and refine the models, tools, and prototypes themselves.

WHAT HAPPENS IN THE STUDIO LAB

The Lab weaves the four layers of our practice into concrete experimentation:

◆ LIVING SYSTEMS
Systems research & insight discovery. Using systems thinking, ethnography, data science, and behavioral insight, we explore human systems deeply — uncovering patterns, dynamics, and leverage points.
→ Outputs: system maps, causal loops, pattern libraries, insight reports.

◆ SYSTEMIC INNOVATION
Future exploration & systemic prototyping. We develop scenarios, emerging models, and experimental prototypes — new services, educational models, health programs, community initiatives — and test them in real conditions.
→ Outputs: future scenarios, prototypes, pilot programs, evaluation insights.

◆ DIALOGIC PRACTICE
Co-creation workshops & collective sense-making. We convene educators, health experts, communities, makers, technologists, and policymakers to collaborate on system-level challenges and build shared understanding.
→ Outputs: aligned visions, co-created concepts, multidisciplinary sprints.

◆ SYSTEMIC DESIGN
Learning experiments & capability building. We design environments, tools, and frameworks that help people develop new ways of thinking and working — from systems literacy to innovation capacity.
→ Outputs: learning labs, skill frameworks, experiential programs, facilitation toolkits.

DOMAINS WE EXPLORE

▸ Education Systems
Learning models, assessment innovations, curriculum redesigns.

▸ Health & Wellbeing
Lifestyle change systems, preventive models, community health prototypes.

▸ Nutrition & Food Systems
Healthy eating ecosystems, behavior-based nutrition design.

▸ Environment & Sustainability
Regenerative systems, circular prototypes, local environmental interventions.

▸ Work & Economic Systems
Meaningful work, future skills, community economies.

▸ Societal Wellbeing
Community design, civic systems, social innovation.

HOW THE LAB WORKS

The Studio Lab is guided by a set of working principles:

▸ HUMAN-CENTERED
People’s needs, behaviors, and lived experiences guide every design.

▸ SYSTEMIC
We design at the level where relationships, patterns, and interactions shape outcomes.

▸ EXPERIMENTAL
We learn by doing: building, testing, iterating.

▸ COLLABORATIVE
We work with partners, not for them — bringing diverse disciplines into the same room.

▸ ADAPTIVE
Our processes evolve continuously based on what emerges.

WHY THE STUDIO LAB EXISTS

To create a space where future possibilities can be imagined, tested, and brought to life.

Where complexity becomes design.
Where dialogue becomes prototype.
Where systemic change becomes tangible.

Because better futures don’t arrive fully formed — they are built, tested, and grown.
